The South Quay Plaza building sits within the wider SQP masterplan site. This wider site comprises three residential buildings, SQP1, SQP2 and SQP4 which, when complete, will deliver over 1,200 homes, including new affordable homes. Over half (2.5 acres) of the masterplan’s site coverage is accessible public realm and landscaping. This includes the installation of over 225 trees and biodiverse shrub and herbaceous mix including over 70 species flowering throughout the year. These are complemented by evergreen hedges and topiary to provide a year-round green backdrop to Canary Wharf.

The redevelopment of South Quay Plaza 1, 2 and 3 received planning consent in 2015. South Quay Plaza 1 (the landmark 68 storey tower – ‘Valiant’) is complete and has already had its first residents occupy the building in October 2020.
